I am proud to have made more than 1,500 masks for healthcare workers through Neighbors for Refugees . As a recently settled refugee, I am so gratified to be able to give back to my adopted country and community. Demand for hand-made, medical grade masks is slowing as traditional industrial production has finally ramped up. Now that the CDC has recommended everyone wear masks whenever they are out in public, many of my neighbors and clients have asked that I make masks for them. I have a selection of cotton masks that can be ordered here. Each mask is washable and made according to CDC recommendations for personal non-medical everyday use.
